Esteban Azanza founded the Acideka Group on a vision that was progressive for the time:

Esteban Azanza founds Acideka. It bases its main activity, the distribution of hydrochloric acid, on the care and respect for the environment, giving a new life to surplus products and avoiding the generation of waste.
We build Acideka’s first production plant, based on the production of ferric chloride.
Geographical diversification in the South-east, with the setting up of Aquacenic Ibérica, with offices in Madrid and a plant in Sagunto (Valencia).
Construction and start-up of the sodium hypochlorite production plant in Lantarón.
We purchase Unico Coagulantes in Segovia
We create the first storage facilities. We expand our product catalogue.
We inaugurate our port facilities in Bilbao, with over 30 storage tanks, allowing large ships to unload. These technological advances push us towards international markets.
Founding of Aquacenic France to strengthen markets in France.
Quimideka is established in Portugal

Construimos la primera planta de producción Acideka centrada en la elaboración de Cloruro Férrico.
Ampliamos las instalaciones en el súper puerto de Bilbao. Al crecer la capacidad de almacenaje, aumentamos el catálogo de productos importados para la distribución en España, Francia y Portugal.
